Speed it up
Technology is enabling businesses to respond to market needs quicker and more easily than ever before.
There are amazing digital tools out there that could help you move projects over the finish line, a little faster.
Here are three simple tips to get you accelerating off the starting block and across the finish line … first!
Visualisation
The classic quote from Steve Jobs:
People don’t know what they want until you show it to them
Help people visualise the value that will be gained from your new idea/item/product/thing. Tools like invisionapp, botsociety, easel.ly, canva, etc. make it easy to create a visual experience of your idea, really quickly. Want to share an idea for a “lead gen” website? Or maybe you want to demo a whatsapp chat bot? Perhaps an infographic or maybe an online webinar invitation? Whatever it is, there is a tool out there waiting for you to trial.
Facilitation
Got a workshop to run remotely with multiple people? Miro is incredible, with great templates to get you started. Think of your typical whiteboard in a big boardroom come to life, virtually. Pick a template from Miro, and get ready to run a virtual design sprint, a customer journey mapping session, a product roadmap workshop, and more!
Communication
The available tools are pretty overwhelming. From slack, to discord, to whatsapp, to msteams, there is no shortage of available communication tools. Think about how many communication channels you need and its “purpose”. Create a communication grid with each communication purpose on a new row. Then decide which tool to use, it might be that one communication tool can answer to a few of your communication needs. Also bed down some “communication ground rules” that will help keep things simple.
